Re: Tomas Soucek
If he can keep the form up he's shown in the last couple of games he's good enough for me. Same with Coufal who looked great, particularly against Brentford with his little back-heels, flicks and tricks adding to his industry.

Moyes dropping Tom for a game obviously woke him up a bit. As it was, Moyes's excuse for picking him week after week, that the team lack height without him, wore us all a little thin.

The lovely goal he scored up at Everton reminded us that he's more than just a rolling bollard and I hope it's the catalyst for better things from him.

Exactly as I see it.

Soufal?

Re: Tomas Soucek
What I would say about Soucek, Soufal too, is that they have restored the professional reputation of players from their neck of the woods much damaged by the headbanger Repka.

RM10 - fair enough - nice you have an opinion on me. I have no opinion on you.

You are a dreadful terrible fan, that’s my opinion, don’t like it?

Re: Tomas Soucek
RM10

Not allowed to have an opinion then? I pay my money and go - I’ve watched him enough over enough time to form that opinion. I 100 percent stand by it.

3 decent halves in 2 years and because he runs around a bit (fucking slowly) with a nice attitude (who wouldn’t on £3.5m a year - bet he can’t believe his luck) and scores the odd goal we can’t offer a genuine opinion.

Come back when you’re off your period.

Dreadful terrible footballer, wat a cunt thing to say. You awful fan.

Re: Tomas Soucek
Lovely man
Great attitude
Never doubt his commitment
Dreadful, terrible footballer

However Last 2 games he has found some form and actually warranted his place out there, so credit where it’s due - I always call it as I see it and last 2 games he has done well. There again a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Let’s hope his form continues to the end of the season so the new “footballing manager” can use his sale to top up the budget and get a proper player in.

Re: Tomas Soucek
He is an enigma... i like him for his obvious love of the club and his commitment and his goals but his passing and touch have been generally woeful for the last 18 months and he's been a passenger but then when he scores we forget about all that and go back to loving him.

Lee Trundle 3:50 Mon Mar 4
Re: Tomas Soucek
You talking about his goal? He was well inside the penalty box when he took the shot.

Fauxstralian 3:39 Mon Mar 4
Re: Tomas Soucek
Thought his first half particularly against Brentford was as well as he'd played for a LONG time
I have never seen him take a shot from outside the box but glad he did on Saturday.
You would have expected him to pass it off or put it back into the box.
Where has he been hiding this outside of the right foot ping into the top corner from 20yds?

Just look out for a poster accusing all and sundry of cheating and basically just being unsavoury, while calling for long jail sentences and bans :-)

Am still here .... I killed Sven over the Christmas period as I needed a couple of weeks of screen free time

Re: Tomas Soucek
wanstead, he's still here, under another name. Here's a clue. Under his new name he started two threads currently on the first page.

Can you guess what it is yet?

Re: Tomas Soucek
Btw, Anyone heard from Sven Roeder? (who started this thread off).
Don’t seem to have posted for a while.

Re: Tomas Soucek
Probably quite telling that the last comments on here, previous to Saturday - were Jun15

Once again , it all comes down to style and preference. There may be an argument that says he fits into Moyes formation or 'style' - which is basically let them have the ball.

If / and for me hopefully when a new coach comes in - who again, hopefully wants to play with the ball - he'll basically be rendered surplus to requirements as he is quite possibly one of the slowest/worst players on the ball.

100% got a goal in him - as has been proven many times - and having met him, he is a really nice guy.
